Can't do the horrible aud from 72. I could of swore I have a tape of the meat of that show from the Dead Hour. Is that a different date? Does the SBD not exist? I don't recall it being an official release

anyway... I almost never listen to anything past 91 ( which I think was a great year, and the last one )but this show really has some great moments imo.

as bad as the aud is, it's great to hear the crowd sing lead vocals on Casey Jones.

I went with '83 this AM - I can't seem to pass up a show that opens w / Shakedown no matter how hard I try.

It also happens to be a very nice AUD

This is the show I listened to this morning as well. If you read my review, you'll know why.

JOTS subject title "have an open mind and try it" takes on a whole new meaning after reading your review. Sounds like you went into the experience with a positive vibe, and even now you appreciate it for what it was. Your account was definitely interesting to read!

LOL. Thanks. Oh yes, the entire experience was positive and it still affectes me to this day. It was a big part of defining who I came to be. Life-altering is an understatement but it's the most consice way to put it using words. The words to the Cryptical suite made a lot more sense after that day.

Can't do it Sally!

Re 3/27/72: At least portions of the show were captured by SBD. The Playin' is on DP #30, and the Good Lovin' is part of a Taper's Section...

Don't worry Cliff, I already knew you and Tell were out. At least you had the courage to venture out and try with your 78 venture ( which I think is a rather sloppy year myself ). I think we may need to perform a group intervention on Tell. He refuses to know the glory of 72 and 73 even.
